BEFORE USING SOMA

INFORM YOUR PHYSICIAN OR PHARMACIST of all prescription and over the counter medications that you are taking. Inform your physician and pharmacist of any other medical conditions, allergies, pregnancy, or breast-feeding.

DIRECTIONS For SOMA

Follow the directions for using this medication provided by your physician. STORE THIS MEDICATION at room temperature, away from heat and light sources. IF YOU MISS A DOSE OF THIS MEDICATION, take it as soon as possible. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and go back to your regular dosing schedule. DO NOT take two doses at once.

POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS of SOMA

Side effects that may go away during treatment include the following: drowsiness/somnolence, dry mouth, flushing, or dizziness. If these symptoms persist or are bothersome, consult with your physician. SPEAK WITH YOUR PHYSICIAN AS SOON AS POSSIBLE if you experience increased muscle weakness, difficulty urinating, or decreased bladder control, or altered emotions, mood, or behavior. If you notice other adverse effects not listed above, contact your physcian, nurse, or pharmacist.

CAUTIONS

BEFORE YOU HAVE ANY MEDICAL OR DENTAL TREATMENTS, EMERGENCY CARE, OR SURGERY, tell the physician or dentist that you are using this medication. THIS MEDICATION MAY CAUSE DROWSINESS. Using this medication alone, with other medications, or with alcohol may decerease your ability to drive or to perform other potentially dangerous tasks. Ask your physcian or pharmacist if you have questions about which medications can cause drowsiness. BEFORE YOU BEGIN TAKING ANY NEW MEDICATION, either prescription or over the counter, check with your physician or pharmacist. FOR WOMEN: IF YOU ARE OR PLAN ON BECOMING PREGNANT, discuss with your physician the benefits and risks of taking this medication during pregnancy.

DRUG INTERACTIONS

Drug interactions can result in adverse side effects or prevent a medication from doing its job.

IF YOU TAKE TOO MUCH

If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately.

DO NOT SHARE THIS MEDICATION with others for whom it was not prescribed. DO NOT USE THIS MEDICATION for other health conditions. KEEP THIS AND ALL MEDICATION out of the reach of children. IF USING THIS MEDICATION FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF TIME, obtain refills before your supply runs out.
